Shea Moisture Advert Animatic

So about a year ago, I was contracted by a fashion student to produce an animatic for her university project. The product was for Shea Moisture and I was given carte blanche in the creative direction as long as it fit with the message of celebrating Afro hair. Which I was on board with.

The whole thing was done in Photoshop which I was already using to do a separate animatic for a personal project, Daedscua. I'll say this isn't as good as it could've been but if I find myself doing another animatic, I'll know all the pitfalls and what I would prefer to do it on ClipStudio. But the one I got only allows for like ten seconds of footage so I guess I just have to get better at PS.

I completed this within a month and the person who hired me, and wanted to wait a bit before I posted this publicly. I decided to share it now just because I am proud of it.

Fun fact, after I was contracted to do this job, I got offered to work on Pop Paper City. So for the first month I was remote and working on two projects, no wonder I was miserable.
