Marshtomp Figurine 3D Model

During my second year of University, we had to do something called a Hero Project. We pick out one thing, model it to accuracy and I chose to do my Marshtomp figurine.

I'm very proud of this asset because modelling, texturing and UV's were not my strong suit during first year. I'm surprised I passed at all and I'm even more surprised I hit my stride during second year. Maybe because I was staying in accommodations and not travelling two hours by train in the morning, who knows? Anyway after first year, I knew not to underestimate the production of 3D Modelling and with a clearer head I passed the module.

I was planning to put this up here as soon as I completed it but between lockdown, online classes and deadlines, I wanted to distance myself. Then after that the files kind of got lost and now I don't have access to the resources to do anything more with it, so I let it get away from me. I'm also trying to make a name for myself as a character animator so I thought this was a conflict of interest but I decided to branch out as a generalist. So I dug this out and let it stand as one of the best works I've done so far.
